How does Geolocation work for Hive Active Heating?
Geolocation sends an alert to your phone if you’ve left your heating on when you’ve gone out, or if your home is below your preferred temperature when you’re nearly back. To activate it, just log in to your Hive app then:
- Go to your app dashboard, where your Hive devices live, and tap ‘Heating’
- Tap the settings icon in the top right corner [insert icon]
- Tap ‘Geolocation’
- Tap ‘Activate’
Make sure you’re connected to your home’s Wi-Fi before you press ‘Activate’, as your phone will set your current location as your home.
