How do I change the temperature of Frost Protection on the Hive Active Heating 2 thermostat?
Frost Protection is a great feature that automatically protects your pipes from freezing when the temperature drops below 7ºC. However, your home may retain or lose heat more than others, so you might want to adjust this temperature. To do this, simply:
- Push the menu button on your thermostat (the middle one at the bottom)
- Turn the dial until it is on 'Settings'
- Press the dial
- Turn the dial until it is on 'Frost Prot Temp'
- Press the dial
- Turn the dial to select your desired temperature
- Press the dial
- Press the green tick
Please note, you cannot set it below 7ºC or above 12ºC.
